I'm one of them

I'm one of them, I walk among these walls
I hunt, I stalk, around me falls
A crowd, the street I call my own,
I'm done, I run into the unknown

I thought these men were full of it
But now I've tried to consider this
They're all just slaves of yesterday

I'm torn apart, bent and broken, Laid to rest in this dark ocean
Been hunted and bruised, Scarred and abused

I could sit here all day, but I'd be waiting in vain
Its gone over my head and now I'm numb to the pain

Was it me in the beginning?
Will I see the end?

About Me

I have resolved on an enterprise which has no precedent, and which, once complete, will have no imitator. My purpose is to display to my kind a portrait in every way true to nature, and the man I shall portray will be myself..
